The Code Enforcement Office is available from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday for all calls involving code violations. Although a written complaint is requested, code officials do check out all complaints or calls. If you should have to file a complaint, please make sure to give as much information as possible. A complete description of the suspected violation is mandatory. Precise directions to the location are also important to ensure a fast response, as are the names and addresses of those involved.

Some of the complaints that a resident may have and the codes that apply to them are: Abandoned Vehicles, Open Burning, Storm Water Discharge, Barking or Loose Dogs, Dumping, Weeds and Parking Issues. These are just a few of the Ordinances that impact the daily lives of residents of our community.

We welcome your calls and visits to this office to discuss any enforcement questions or complaints that you may have. We also request that residents be responsible and willing to testify at any enforcement action.

The dumping of refuse and trash is illegal in Hazle Township.  It is a major problem and takes time and money to clean up.

Please Do Not Dump.  If you see someone dumping, please report it to the Code Enforcement Officer.  We appreciate you help with this problem.
